Fortin Construction, Inc., Wins CertainTeed's Coveted Award of Excellence
(Valley Forge, Pa.) - General contractor Fortin Construction, Inc., of Auburn, Maine, recently won the CertainTeed Corporation Award of Excellence for a residential remodeling project that utilized CertainTeed® vinyl siding.
The two-story re-siding project, judged among other national entries, was selected for its craftsmanship and overall presentation. Fortin Construction's winning entry featured 2,400 square feet of CertainTeed Cedar Impressions™ Triple 5-inch Straight Edge Perfection Shingles in Buckskin. Perfection Shingles feature 1/100-inch thick, durable polymer, with a sturdy and rigid structure tested to withstand hurricane-force winds. The virtually maintenance-free Molded Perimeter Lock™ creates a seamless appearance and comes with a lifetime limited warranty. For this project, Fortin Construction also added CertainTeed Vinyl Carpentry™ Beaded Triple 2-inch soffits in Colonial White to the residence.
